Joy Ride May 21 - August 1, 2016
Eric Hutchinson made the decision to ride his bicycle across country from Connecticut to California, this is a little more than 4,000 miles and he spent 59 days of traveling. A sincere thank you to everyone for all of the help and support you shared during his journey. Eric started his ride in New Haven on May 21, and cycled through New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Nevada and finally reached his destination in California on August 1.
One of his lovely Daughters, Erica created a GoFundMe Campaign to help support his trip. The money raised helped for maintenance of his bicycle during the adventure, food, drinks, and helped pay for a hotel on rest days. Eric is the father of 4 beautiful children, whom he has greatly inspired. His family is honoured and so very proud of him and his accomplishments, he has amazing qualities and a gift at heart. He shared his courageousness, determination, love, and faith in achieving his goals. He has inspired us to remember that no matter how impossible things may seem, if you carry these attributes close to your heart you can do anything! Pop you Rock! What an awesome life changing experience he checked off his adventure list!
